This residence in Northampton has a quiet charm that was a main factor in the design approach. The existing home dates from the 1940s and with the new addition, creates a multigenerational home that, with its proximity to the Northampton Bikeway, is accessible, walkable, and bike friendly.

The addition respects the New England charm of the original home and stands tall amongst the surrounding forest. The second floor provides exceptional views of the Mill River and also overlooks the back deck that serves as a gathering area for the family.
