About us
MISSION
Meetinghouse seeks to rebuild and re-establish residential and commercial architecture in the Valley and surrounding areas. Our region is populated with established building stock, infrastructure and culture, creating a complex web of constraints for building owners to navigate. Meetinghouse is the partner in that challenge - not only to design new structures - but to respect and reuse the existing ones.
The clients and projects we enjoy most prioritize bold expression.
We enjoy taking on challenges.
We believe in honest communication.
We have a passion for creating.
TEAM
With 35+ years of combined experience in architecture, interiors and furniture, the staff at Meetinghouse are makers and problem solvers. Our approaches to detailing and construction come from a multidisciplinary background in design and fabrication, and a strong network of craftspeople allows us to source unique solutions in our projects.
Dana
Architectural Designer
Joining our team in early 2024, Dana brought significant skill in 3D modeling and rendering with her. A UMass graduate, she works to develop buildings inside and out, creating unique settings and experiences for our clients, while maintaining BIM models for more efficient development.
Geoff
Architect and Managing Principal
MA Registered Architect and member of WMAIA and APTNE, Geoff has quickly gained a reputation for being an approachable and energetic designer. He oversees the design studio in Florence, handles our pro-bono projects and brings his unique design aesthetic to all aspects of his work.
Nicholas
Project Manager
Coming to us from NYC, Nick brings years of experience in high end residential work and commercial projects to the valley. A New England native - his interest in local vernacular is helping take built projects from client to construction, with a sense of balance and permanence.
Sam
Sculptor and Managing Principal
With cumulative experience in design and fabrication totaling 25 years, Sam is an expert in clever solutions of all scales. He takes an active management and creative role at Meetinghouse while also managing a 2,000sf architectural metalworking business: Salmon Studios, LLC in Florence.
