We were approached at the end of 2023 by a local developer team to lead the design of a multi-unit project in Greenfield.

Our approach was that of “home” – ensuring that the units, whether rented or owned, carried with them a sense of ownership. Architectural elements (such as demising walls and overhangs) were exaggerated to break up an otherwise large building into smaller houses, creating screening and covered entries to convey a sense of privacy. Inside, the design uses a continuous central staircase to connect spaces for living, eating, and resting between the different floors.
